What a gorgeous day down my way.
My husband is on the board of a community arts council, and today was a "First Saturday" art show in the park. I took my big baby dog (all 120 lbs of him) and we went for a walk in the park, a splash in the creek, and followed it with perusing the artist booths. I came home with a dog sculpture made from recycled paper materials. His name is Chico :)

Oh, yeah, and I hit another goal! Today, I weighed in less than my husband! WOOT! I was at 182.2 this morning and he was around 184. I have weighed less than him maybe once before in our relationship, when we first met. Even the last time I was at 180 (the fall and winter we got married), he was less than that. Lucky for me he's picked up about 10 lbs over the past 10 years!
This is me at 182.2, front and side (size L shirt and the shorts are 12). I'm still obese for 4 more lbs. I want to lose at least another 35 lbs to put me in the normal BMI range.
Sounds like a wonderful day...the kind I love.

ReplyDeleteYep, Truman (the real dog), is pretty lean for as big as he his. He's just really tall (he's half Great Pyrenees).
ReplyDeleteIf you can afford to get a ticket you can room with me and another girl and that will bring down the price quite a bit! TRUST ME...I can barely afford it myself but I would really love to have a glass of wine with you!

ReplyDeleteFor what ever reason When I first started looking at tickets they were $350. I got one this past week for $200. I was please and I jumped on it!
I totally understand. But if last minute you decide to treat yourself I'll treat you to a glass of wine on me...or my husbands credit card! LOL

ReplyDeleteYou are soooo small! I can't wait to be less than my husband! I'm at 189 now, and he's 175ish most days, so I have, we'll say, 15 more pounds to go! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteWow you really look great. You don't even look overweight to me. Is that what 184 looks like? wow. I can't wait to be there as I'm 10 lbs more than that right now. If I could look like you.....look out! :) Seriously, you look great - you must be taller than me (I'm 5'4") to look so lean. It may take me to 174 to look like that. You go girl!
